Back to a Windows desktop after all?
Most of all, I am missing Google Desktop Search in Linux. I understand that Beagle should be able to do it, but I could not get it installed on FC4 so far. And the idea to simply grep the files turned out to be very naive because neither PDF nor OpenOffice files are in readable form.
So my ThinkPad with Windows has GDS again - including the plugin to search OpenOffice documents.
